So I spent an entire semester studying earworms...

Why? To become a better strategist of course. 

Earworms = a catchy song or tune that runs continually through someone's mind

Or perhaps most famously

The Assignment: Find a problem the music industry is currently facing.

We discovered a research report that found earworms were interrupting people's sleep. 

So we did our own research through focus groups, interviews, a survey, social listening, ethnography, and secondary research. 

And we found that while people are experiencing earworms, they aren't consciously bothered by them.

We took this information, and created a campaign idea for Olly Vitamins.

The idea was that Olly Vitamins offered a product that could help combat the effects of earworms by positioning Olly as a simple and convenient addition to your morning routine.
